The Tax Credit is a contribution in its own right, but unlike direct contributions, the credit is not disbursed by the state to the company; rather, the company uses the defined amount to offset everything it owes to the state (taxes, fees, vat, contributions for contractors and/or employees, and other tax obligations).

THE PROCEDURE

How to apply
for a tax credit?

In order to benefit from the Tax Credit for Research, Development, Innovation and Design, it is necessary to: prepare a technical report; obtain a certification from a certified public accountant; and send a communication to the Ministry of Economic Development and any supplementary information. The first two requirements are mandatory for the application of the incentive, the communication to MISE is optional and serves only to monitor the progress, effectiveness and dissemination of the tax credit measures.
